Calc-FDI3 is designed to be used in Australia by Bush Fire Control Officers and members of Bush Fire Brigades. It makes use of the Australian Fire Danger Rating System models to predict fire behaviour for fires in the following environments: Grassland, Mallee Heath, Shrubland, Tasmanian Buttongrass, Spinifex and Spinifex Woodlands and Savanna Woodlands. , Eucalypt Forests coming soon.
